Nestled on the top floor of the new Grand Mercure Auckland, Vue is a dining oasis within a vibrant metropolis. Serving food as beautiful as the view, the menu reflects its seaside destination and is rich in local seafood and infused with flavours and modern techniques.

We can never pass up the famous king prawn red curry or the delicate Cloudy Bay calm linguini. For a heartier meal, bite into a Wagyu double cheeseburger or braised lamb shoulder with a side of truffle fries. As for desserts, they’re to die for. Rich and smooth chocolate pave, light and citrusy lime trifle and a toasted to perfection coconut crème brulee.
If you make it to breakfast, you’re in for a treat. The full buffet is complete with gluten-free items, a make your own juice station, buttery pastries, crispy bacon and eggs delicately cooked to order.
Vue offers a decadent dining experience that’s a feast for the palate and the eyes because there’s no better way to spend an evening than watching the yachts and city life go by.
Located on the top floor of the hotel, Vue is open from 6:00 am – 10:00 pm.

Breakfast weekends: 6.00 am – 11.00 am
Lunch: 11:30 am – 3:00 pm
Dinner: 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Chef Daniel Na brings his creative, talent and skill for flavours to the Grand Mercure kitchen
Chef Daniel’s most recent role was that of Executive Chef at Ostro Brasserie before heading up the brigade at Grand Mercure. Originally from Seoul, Daniel moved to NZ in 2008 where he gained years of experience in Auckland’s finest restaurants.
Daniel loves to create beautifully crafted dishes, seeking out the best produce with a passion to delight and share his curiosity and love of good food. His menus will take diners on a product-driven journey from the clear Pacific waters through to the open rugged hills of North Canterbury.
